Inside the head of... Amy
Murphy
'I still read on and off now and give feedback as much
as I can. I think anyone who has an idea how to fix the show or do something
different should. Everyone has the capability to write, and the feedback
gives a person a way to improve. I've read bards that wrote for the first
time and their idea was great, but the story was rough… as time went on
they improved greatly and now their work blows me away. I think FF is
great for everyone. Isn't it a good thing to learn?'
'I have always wanted to write. I can remember writing
when I was in grade four, and ever since then. I only quit writing once
for about six months, and only then because my ex-husband said we couldnt
keep any more of my stories. So I threw scads of my writing into the
fire and refused to write more than a grocery list for six months.'
Dissecting the Germ - an interview with Verrath
'I think I started writing my first story somewhere
in second grade, the moment my writing skills were good enough to write
coherent sentences. Ever since, I've felt the need to put stories to
paper - it's like painting, only less messy (and painting is another
of my hobbies). My muse had been dormant for years at the time when
I first came across the Xenaverse, however, and fan fiction. Needless
to say, I jumped at this chance to stretch my creative legs once more!
